is Associate Professor at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Research Fellow at the Catholic University of Milan, where he holds an M.A. and a Ph.D, and a corresponding member of the Pontifical Committee for Historical Sciences. He is the author of five monographs and editor of ten books in the field of history of international relations and diplomacy.
